How early do you think the flatheads will start biting? What about carp in the river?

Is there a website that I can find the water temp for the river? One I found says the current temp is 48 degrees.

What if we don't have a chub spot? Know any other indicators?

Or if you feel comfortable sharing any chub info, john@sourceins.com

Carp and Catfish are biting in some of the lakes right now. Fish Devil caught a real nice carp on Sunday. I also caught a nice catfish at the same lake on a live minnow. If you know of some lakes with catfish and carp, they should be biting there.

No carp for me, but the cats are starting to stir already...been getting a few smaller ones, waiting on the big guys to start eating.

Remember it's against the Law to return Flatheads back into the water.
