Whats your fuel burn and performance numbers? I assume the Merc is a carb'd model.

Motor is carbed, Burn 12 gallons hour @26 MPH with 3 people aboard and full fuel.
It will do 45 mph burning 20 hour.
Fuel burn is deceiving in SeaCrafts, as Jimmy stated these are awesome sea boats, you will be comfortable at a higher speed, than going slow in something else. Kinda equals out at the end of the day. I was home hours before some boats when we were fishing the same grounds. The hull loves to get up on top of a nasty sea. The Sceptre model is also drier for the helmsman than the CC. Almost never have spray on the windshield. This package is well woth the money. I took boat home yesterday, here are the latest photos.

I noticed the decals (the SeaCraft logos) are different in the two sets of pics. Was the hull painted or just new decals?

The hull has not been painted. When I bought the boat I changed them to look like the origionals. Sometime in its 30 years the other set was put on.

If it's going to be in the water, let's go for a ride - I'll kick in for 10 gallons of fuel. That should cover the cost for 1/2 spin.

    Let me know.

Bennet, its home in my driveway. Can surely start the motor right up though. I had a deposit on the boat right away, but person could not get the funds. ?? Awful lot of boat for $12,000.

How about a ride for 20 gallons of fuel !!

    Seriously.

Short of running over to your house with a bag of money, I'd like to get a feel for that legendary boat ride.

Let me know if you put er' in for something like this - I'm a Jersey man and can run over.
