Default LaSalle vs. Frankford H.S. City Title Game

Coming off a huge Overtime victory over St. Joe's Prep 28-27 to win the Catholic League Title, the Explorers will face the Frankford Pioneers this Saturday 400pm at Northeast H.S. field.

Anyone have any idea what the Vegas line is for this game?

I have an Ex-Pioneer QB buddy who's trying to get me to give him too many points. My confidence is tempered with restraint, so I'm thinking Frankford +3..........any ideas?

Not the Frankford of my youth. No Al Angelo. La Salle in a city title game? When did they upgrade their game? My youngest brother scored his first (of many Td's) against Lasalle. Had one carry in the game for 90+ yard td in his freshman year. Biggest Jack could give you the line. Who coaches the pioneers now?

My North Catholic Falcons used to play Frankford every year on Thanksgiving.
When my d line lined up against their o line it looked like the eagles playing against a pop warner team.
    Those public boys were HUGE!

MichaelC did you go to Frankford, I was there in the late 70's. Good old Al and Mr Howley. I will take Frankford +16

Central. New Al from the Bridesburg Rec center. Played summer baseball for Him. Al passed several years ago. He was living in OC at the time. Ron Howley was a big surf fisherman last I heard. Brigantine. Have many friends that played ball for FKD.

I remember when Frankford played Egan for the city title in maybe 72? Egan had running back bigger than onyone on FKd line. Had friends who played QB and RB for FKd. The RB was no bigger than 5'8" and 160 soaking wet. He got hammered that day.

Does Steve want to make a little bet on the game?
