    Talking Quick Question

As crazy as it sounds my dad bought the boat without actually seeing it in person and it will be here in 2 days but we arent sure of one thing. Does it have a fishbox? I would expect it to have one but from the looks of the pictures the guy sent me it doesn't look like it has one, maybe on the deck? Does anyone know if the 2012 Parker 28 foot has a fish box. It says it in the brochure.

Default My guess is they are transom mounts...

Just took a look at the website and it appears the only deck hatch is to the Lazarett (not sure what the are is called on a outboard boat).

But in the transom it appears that there is a fish box in the center and like a live well port and starboard?

if you look at standard features and go to the bottom, like 5 or 6 up it says "Full Transom with twin bracket (w/swim platform & dive ladder receiver) & 268 qt insulated fishbox with "drop-in" storage boxes" ? does that mean yes? so confused

they have boxes in the transom not in the deck... IMO its better just to put a big 200Qt cooler in the back deck.... makes for good seating

I'm going to agree with PA guy. You buy a Parker because you want a simple fishing boat without all of the silly bells and whistles (most of which break). For example fishboxes with macerator pumps need to be winterized, are difficult to clean and peiodcally need to be replaced when they break. Get a large cooler for striper season and a smaller cooler for fluke season and save yourself the money. Congradualtions on the new PARKER!

John, From the picture you posted the twin motors are mounted on a transom bracket which makes me think there is a full transom which would contain a fish box. However, if its there great; if not a nice 94gt or larger cooler will serve your needs perfectly. We have a few and they act as seats, storage and fish boxes on our Steiger.
    Good Fishing !
