    Default A fin-tastic day

It has been snowing all day and night here in Poquoson, Virginia, probably have about 10 inches so far . Luckily I got out on the Jet Ski earlier in the week and had a chance to see several Humpback Whales. There were at least five off of Cape Henry a three of them breached a couple of times and was fortunate to get a some decent pictures.

Even had a couple Dolphins swimming around me.

    Herons in my back yard.

Resident Bald Eagles working the nest in my back yard.

Brian - You're a lucky man to witness and enjoy the bald eagles on a daily basis. It's such a majestic and beautiful bird, and the only 2 times I got to see them... I remained stunned for minutes admiring the size, dazzle, and appeal of the bird. Thanks for posting these pictures.

Hey Brian, how deep is the bay?
    Do whales need deep water?

Brian, your pics never fail to amaze me and uplift my spirits. Thank you. BTW, did you ever put that book of your photos together? It has been awhile since I visited this site, so just wondering.
