Does anyone have any input on Chestnut Neck Marina.

Thinking of slipping my boat in the Great Bay area. In or out of water. Can some one give me the scoop on the marina's in this area. Thanks

Probably have trouble finding a slip there now. Best bet is on Great Bay Boulevard, there's 4 marinas down there and the prices are reasonable. Maybe Chestnut Neck or New Gretna. Sheltered Cove probably has slips but they're very expensive and their season is short. Cape Horn on GB boulevard would be my first pick.

Be careful on Great Bay Blvd as the marina's there all have issues at low tide. Just a heads up. They are all good Marinas with great owners but if you store your boat there don't expect getting out or in at low tide to be easy. Sometimes it won't even be possible! Good Luck.

I've kept my boat there for the last 8 years. They have dry rack storage and slips. It's a well run business with friendly people. They have had a waiting list for the last few years so I don't know how easy it will be to get in. If you're in the area, they have a freebie tide table book with their rack and slip rates, season, etc.

I was there for a while and it is very well run and reasonable prices. I was slipped in the floating docks, but halfway through the season I had recurring boat problems and had to keep getting pulled out with the forklift. They switched me to dry storage at no charge so I could get things worked out. They also have great prices on all the bait and supplies you'll need, and honest mechanics.
