I just unpacked my new hydroglow and droped it in the water, this things isn't just for offshore, picked up 17 Bass (17-25 inches):D last night in a matter of 2 hrs. I thought my boat was being held up by the bait fish swaring around the boat. We had our choose of fish, blues, bass, trout, etc... I can't wait to try chunking. Very cool.:D :D

I have been using this light for the past two years. It is absolutely the best. I get so much bait right up to the boat. The tuna will come right up on top at times. We caught several swords last year and one trip with two boated. If you are considering getting one, dont even hesitate. Its worth it!

they run on 12 volt. you can rig up a battery jumper box or a standard battery. there is 15 ft cord so that might not be a bad idea to try it from a sod bank. email me contact info if you want me to be in touch.

They also make a dock light which works really well. We carry these as well!

How much do these go for, and can they be used off of a pier?
Jay Weinberg

they are $200 and can be used off a pier. you would not want the waves banging it up against the pilings and the cord is about 20 foot. make sure you take these factors into consideration when making your decision.
if you have any questions please call or email us

how do you think they would work with a kayak? anyone ever try?
Bulls Eye Fishing Rods

I guess it would work. But then you would have to put a battery on the kayak and it would add extra weight. I would imagine someone has tried it before...just no one I know!

How sturdy are they? If I just throw it in the cab when I'm done will it hold up.

they come in a carrying case. it is like a pool que holder. as long as you dont smash it you will be fine.
