let me know how you feel whats better chunkin or eelin and whats your favorite area of the bay.

I think chunkin will get you bigger fish up in the bay. My favorite is eelin in the rips.

in the bay its chunking, hands down. but in the rips its eels. i also like to eel off of jetties.

as far as location, it depends on where the fish are.

Chunking is the best...Bigger fish and no matter where in the del bay u will catch stripers..

Havent eeled in a few years-like to feel the bump before the hit as coming over the rip. Dont miss dealing with the slimy @#$%@# especially when balled up on the hook or in the dark & cold.

Chunkin is fun when the bite is on and watching the proverbial paint dry when slow. Hate trying to find the fresh after the blow keeps the boats in for a few days

Bucktail is definetly a science especially when on board with Adambomb or Stalker watching them, hook up at will while your just there holding your rod.

I like to mix it up and do all three !

Chunkin will yield bigger fish,but it's boring as heck,eelin and bucktailin is alot more fun.Depends what your looking for.
