Sorry Bobabuoy, the 58.55lbs is at the taxidermist as is the 53.10. Both fish were entered in the On The water Contest and the Fisherman Magazine for a chance to win a boat and truck. The 52lb fish, caught by a charter was released along with a 46lb fish....I have killed my share of trophy Bass over the years, but I have released many more......

Cowhunter...way to go on the big bass. I finally broke the 30 pound mark this June and am now looking to break the 40 pound mark now. I never had a fish from salt water mounted yet. I guess you're having a skin mount with your fish? I wasn't sure if they can skin mount salt water fish. I just don't care to much for the reproduction mounts. Don't like that plastic look. If I get lucky enough to get another big one to get mounted what the prefered way to keep the fish until you get it to a taxidermist? How long can you wait until you take your fish to somebody?

Ken,
In the movie "Coming to America" when King Jaffe Joffer walks, buetiful women throw rose petals to pave his foot steps. When you come rolling through our area again we will ensure you get the same treatment !
You rock, congradulations on a great season !

Hey striper whisperer... beautiful fish! I'm still looking for a spot in the 50# club. I'll get it I just need to put less time in at the office and more time in at the floating office.
