going up for a mixed bag fishing trip on Sept. 16th. We're heading out of Plymouth, Ma and going across to the point. We're targeting Stripers and tuna. Anyone been there that time of year and how did you do. I'm pumped about the tuna. Had two trips that didn't go out in the past few years so this will be the first tuna trip ever for me and Bro-in-law. Thanks for the input.

I am from up there and my entire family is still there. I'll be up the week of 9/7- getting married  . My brother goes out for stripers a few times a week and said Race Point has been pretty productive recently- most of the guys catching are slow trolling bucktails on wire. They have also had luck with live pogies.
There is tons of bait around and the sand eels should only multiply by the time you get up there. Keep an eye on this fishing report- they do a pretty good job updating for a variety of locations.

I hear the tuna bite is strong right now but I don't have much experience with them.

While I'm up there we will be taking at least 1 trip to Monomoy Island off Chatham. If you have the opportunity I strongly suggest checking it out.

Thanks for the site info. Went to it and the reports where promising to say the least. I like what they said about the tuna..."if it's this good now I can't wait until sept when it should be legendary"
