other: Started out the morning fluke fishing the Ambrose channel in 50 ft and got only a couple short fluke. Moved to deeper water when tide started going and repeated our drift 20 times for fluke on every drift with 6 keepers. Finding NY keepers is was tough. After the tide stopped we trolled up a bonito on a drail/clark spoon on our way to a lumpy bottom for sea bass. On our first drop we got a porgy, fluke and a jumbo 4.5 pound sea bass. Ended there with a dozen keeper sea bass. two jumbos between 4.2 - 4.5 pounds. Total for the day was 60-80 fluke(8 keepers), 1 bonito, 12 keeper sea bass. Seas were perfect on way back to our dock.
