I mostly boat fish the D bay and then the CM rips. Right now I fish the back waters behind NWW-CM..Until it gets colder and the run turns on in the D bay..

I fish from my boat and use clams. That's the only bait I have confidence in. I use bass assassins and herring in the susky flats.

Is this a serious question?
You're asking this on the BASSbarn?
You didn't put freshwater.
My favorite way is with artificials on the Delaware.....:)

I like fishin the back bay areas on my buddy's 14ft (2 seater) Kayak....Clam bellies with a strip of white flounder belly that I keep salted and frozen for this time of year....Old guy around the corner from me gave me the tip about the flounder belly strips about 5 years ago and seems to have work pretty good past couple years.....On the other hand I guess it hasn't hurt....Whatever's gonna getter done, right?

Glad all you guys don't use fly rods. That saves plenty of fish for us fly guys. We don't want you guys having all the fun that we do, so don't tell anyone how much fun it is.:D :D :D

Looks like everyone is pretty well rounded, would be nice to see where/how everyone spent the majority of their time. Only thing I didnt vote for was the long rod and that will soon be in the works.

I have caught my bigger stripers on live bait, but a I catch most of them on coho minnows on a spinning rod and clousers on my fly rod. As to where I fish is where ever the fish are.

I know guys Fly Fish for stripers, and it surely must be a thrill to catch one that way..But, I like the snottier weather for BIG bass. I can t imagine someone catching an Ocean raised striper on a fly rod during a 20-25 knt blow.
