Me and my pops got up at 5 on the boat at 630, thick fog so we stayed inside and put 3 dozen spot in the live well, fog lifted so we ran out to bay and immediatly found huge schools of breaking bass so thick u could have stood on them. all bass were between 12" and 17"
set up to troll with stretch 25's and tandem sassy shads 1 bass 17 3/4" and one 19" blue, missing alot of tails from blue bites.
found some nce marks while we were trollin so we pulled the rigs and dropped the hook and started live lining siome spot. nothing but blues. as we were sittin there i saw some bay anchovies suddenly get really nervous so i garbbed my bucktail just as the school came up Bam hooked up with the only keeper bass of the day 19 1/4" but the school went down and resurfaced about 200yards behind the boat but we were anchored so there was no point in chasing them.
no big fish but plenty of fun on light tackle, fly giys could have a ball out there every bass being pulled up had atleast 3 more with em
