LBI Cup this weekend hosted by BHMTC

The BHMTC is hosting the LBI Cup, a striper tournament for the two heaviest fish 11/9-11/10. This contest is open to all comers. Register Friday night at the BHMTC on Pennsylvania Av near Morrisons.

Fish can be weighed in at the club and in BL. Details to be posted Monday (our site is down:eek: )

150 to enter- covers 4 anglers. Runs from 3am sat to 3pm sat. Boundaries are from the governors mansion to wreck inlet. You can weigh in at either Barneget light bait and tackle or BHMTC. Payout based on 25 boats is 1000 for 1st, 500 for 2nd and 250 for 3rd for two biggest fish. Overall heaviest fish also gets 250.

Well that was a wet and windy day. But still had fun. At Least we were able to put 3 fish on the scales!! Thanks to the BHMTC. See ya next year.:D

28 boats fished.
Diamond Jim Sprague had 1st place with 41 pounds,

Lucky Stripes 2nd with 34

and John F and Luddy had 3rd place with something like 31 pounds. Alot of fish came to the scales in the 25lb (combined) weight.

BTW On Sunday some big fish were caught offshore under Gannett birds!

TUNA...that was quite an insightful prediction...he WON! Next year, predict me, ok?

We weighed in 2 fish for 29 lbs, got 5th place, no money though. Kids had alot of fun fishing in the rain...seriously.

Can you believe that , and I was just breakin balls because he is my brother in law . The best is I was invited to fish with him and I turned him down to go duck hunting .
