RIPS Action

Hey did anyone do anything in the RIPS today. We spent 3 hrs or so and didn't do much of anything, Did not hear much being said on radio except fishing was not good either.

Was headed to 60ft but is was very rough and decided to try RIPS instead.

So did anyone else have any luck today?

Talked to a few guy's at dock this afternoon most said they just got beat up a little. Did see one guy cleaning a good size striper as I was leaving this afternoon. I'm going to try and get out one day this week and maybe another trip this wewekend.

I heard they started to bite today;) we had and 3 or 4 keepers in the AM to 37", and had bass to 20 pounds in the afternoon, heard the BOMB had them too, its on!

There are fish to be caught...we had 15 bites on the pm trip;)

Jer, Skip, I can see it now, everyone else is saying no fish and here you 2 are posting catches..........it might be time to "pump you up" again.


Good job boys, thanks for the positive reports, might be hunting in that area this weekend coming. Ken & I will see you guys, da Bomb, Scotty & Tommy out there soon, if were on them we will give one of ya a shout.

Fished the rips monday. We had a couple of bite's, but the seaweed was horrible. Hopefully all the move's out after this storm
