Best day so far this fall

All week I was getting 2-6 per day but only got legal fish on Monday.
Everything was on Spots,couldn't get a touch on eels or bucktails
Today I go out and nothing hitting spots,switched to Bucktails and landed 13. Not big fish 22-27" but real healthy and meaner than a junk yard dog once they figure out a hook was in them
Moral of the story ,"don't get caught in a rut,one bait isn't working try another, try different colors if using plugs or bucktails"
The back bay fish are here you just need to figure out what they want and it may be different on the change of the tide

Best bite last half of outgoing ,first hour in

white bucktail with white 6" twister tail most of morning, white with chratruese twsiter tail in high sun

Glad to hear you did well Bill. I must of been North of you yesterday morning, didn't see you. Got a 36" on an eel and a short on a jig.

Mike, yes I was south in the small stuff.
I' haven't had a bite on an eel in a week,bucktails and live spots
Only found 5 this morning,Duck hunters all over and in good bass spots

They sure were beautiful fish, just like you observed. I was North, you know the area. Yesterday was my first fish of the fall on an eel and the first time I didn't see any blues.

Can you believe those duck hunters? They were even out in that wind on Saturday, they must have launched in the dark. (And my wife thinks I'm crazy.)
