Sunday 11/4 got tired of watching the wind blow. Untied the Bonus Check II from her slip in the Lewes Canal and nosed out of the inlet to find a pretty stiff NW blow. Against the tide all day made for rough going.
Decided to hang close and poke around the Outer Wall and the Haystacks. Trolled Stretches and tandem bucktails with nothing but a bit off shad body.
Dropped some eels on the rip outside the wall before dark. Had one fish on .... briefly. Did see one fish caught there right at sunset by the only other boat in sight at the time. Never had any concentration of marks or see much else going on.
Didn't expect much and I got just what I expected. Water temp still hanging right around 60 degrees.

Thanks Capt. for the report. I was hoping to get out this week sometime but the wind has to lay down for my 19 ft GW to go.

Ed,
It was about this time last year when we bumped into each other out there just off the point in the bluefish frenzy.
The baby's got me tied up at the moment but will be headed out to troll the around the same area in a week or so. Dad and friends did alright in that vincinty around Xmas last year. Hoping the temps drop a little more before Thxgiving.
Will be fishing that week; give us a shout!
TC,
Brad
