CM Rips 11/04

Let's just say the morning would have been a total bust if hadn't been so nice and calm. If I had to battle the elements for absoultly NOTHING then I would really be pi$$ed. Set up before sunrise on the inside perfect conditions, tide just starting to move, rips showing nicely not too windy just enough for a good drift, NOTHING, not even a little pull. (water was dirty at best, 58) Headed out to deeper water looking for cleaner water, (Little beter color, 60) and NOTHING. Trolled back inside made a couple more drifts NOTHING!!!! We dragged eels and spot, tried buck tails, and trolled. NOTHING!!!! We did see 3 fish caught couldn't tell if they were bass or blues. Didn't hear much on the radio either. The usual pros were out, but making alot of moves. This is getting discouraging when you think it is the 1st week of Nov and there is NO Rips action. I guess I will try again Thur or Fri, right after the next blow, YA.
