Hey guys,
Short and sweet...
We fished hard both AM and PM Sunday and Monday post-blow. The fish are absolutely starting to show up as Sunday's trip with Tom Sacchetta, his father, and his two youngsters Todd and Kyle yielded a dozen hook-ups and everyone landing bass with the biggest going ~20lbs and the smallest 33". Sunday afternoon, George Allan, Denny, Tom, Chris, Harry, and Hunter were on the boat. It was howling westerly at a stiff 20 to 25 knots, but we toughed it out and got on a very steady bite with a bite per pass for most of the afternoon. Everyone got fish, with Chris getting the biggest at 25lbs and his father, Tom, getting 2nd place honors with a 20lber. Monday fishing was a bit tougher for us, but we did get a couple good fish Monday morning with Ken, Greg, Mark, Joe, and Steve. We had tough sledding Monday afternoon with Doug, Doug, and Joe. With a hard SW wind cranking 20 knots, we had a hard time getting the baits presented right and sea weed was a huge issue as we were getting loaded up with it all afternoon. Hopefully, that garbage will clean up as the fish are there to be caught. We should be back out on Thursday morning, and with mid to upper 50 degree water and big schools on their way, mayhem should follow suit.
