11/17/07: I was out with two neighbors, Tommy Cormann and John Tomko and nine year old Jake Post. We got a call about non stop fishing to our north, so thats where we headed. When we arrived, we were into bass and blues. They spanned about a 5 mile range with fish busting the surface and birds working on top. We jigged them consistantly all morning. The bass were 20" - 25" and blues were about 4 lbs. We left that action to look for bigger fish in deeper water (60') to troll up more bass in the same size class. The only difference was that the blues were all jumbos with the biggest being 16 lbs. No keepers, but we caught so many it didnt seem to matter. What a day! There is still plenty of fish to our north, so book your trip now for some of the best fishing around. Capt John
