Saw you out there Sunday morning and know a few that went out to same area but did not fair so well as you did. Great bite and did you have any after the tide starting running in and the wind picked up. We had a similar bite late Sat afternoon but about a mile inshore of you. This was the first time I fished the incoming this year as everything we have had has been on the outgoing. The GBT have started down south and one of these years you have to come down and give them a shot. Be my guest as I want to see you in absolute pain on one of those 400-500 lb plus big boys. Great catch and good luck when you get out again on the stripers. I will be out on Sat and doing at least one more chunk trip before heading south. We never chunked on last two trips and never had a doggie, skate or and only one bluefish. Late last week we fished almost exactly where you were on Sunday and we had to fight thru the junk fish & blues all day before we finally got our striper bite but when we did not chunk we slammed the stripers with no junk fish.
Just a suggestion when the doggies are thick.
