Hi,
I'm new to striper fishing, and am curious what kind of trailers I should
tip my bucktail jigs with? How long of a trailer, etc....
Please advise.
Thanks,
Sean

any chartruse rubber will suite you just fine, from jigging to dragging, good luck

Uncle Josh pork rinds work great. Grab yourself a couple of jars of different colors and you'll do fine. Also, twister tails are another option. With the pork rinds I like red/white with the red side up and with twisters I like white on white.
I referring to surf cast off the beach. Boat fish requires different jig weights, colors, and lengths of trailers.

White fluke belly.
You'll get fined for having them, but everything is illegal these days.

4-6" white and chartruese grubs (im still looking around for the new 6" gulps, my local shops wont get them in until spring), pork rinds, 7" pink, white and black worms. The list is endless and take my word- the bucktail and herring/mackeral/shad strip is not just for flounder fishing.
