went out today with Capt Tim and hammered the big va beach stripers. there were bird plays today that were unbelievable. the gannets were hitting the bunker and it looked like someone was machine gunning the water. skmag, myself and three other barners had a fabulous day.

we will be posting a utube video when we get back on monday. smallest striper was twenty lb and the biggest was 45. it was really something.

i hope you can get to experience these va beach stripers. it was a wild day and i will post tomorrow when we come. the crew was great and most all the fish were caught on jigs., capt paul and tim were great and tomorrow we leave at 600am

more tomoorow ,we will be posting the videos and pictures when we get a back home.

good night

I lived on the Outer Banks last winter and we had a few days like that in the beach launcher. It's a rush driving up to a huge play and knowing that you'll be hooked up on the first cast.

We caught a ton of fish, but the smallest was about 12 lbs, I know
because I caught fish yesterday on the clean sweep between 12 lb
and 25, most averaged about 18 lb for me.

The 45 was a 45", not a 45 lb, I know I saw the measurement at 45"
I believe the weight was about 38 lb, but could be wrong. The 45"
was caught with eels. All other fish caught jigging about 5-8 miles
off the beach.
