Does anybody know what's going on at Hitcharama?
I've noticed that there is a new logo on their sign and the parking lot seems different, too.

I was at the rv show in AC a few months ago and their section was closed off. Another dealer told me they went under. So I'd guess either financial restructure and a new name/management or possibly new owners alltogether.

Heard a while back that they were sold.

Since the new year, I received 2 e-mails from them. Seems like they are still in business.

Well if they were bought out by their employees........I definatley wouldn't go there now. They were the rudest and most dishonest salemen I had ever dealt with. Even the people in the garage were very unpleasant to try to talk to.

Was owned by a family that sold to MUREX investments in late 2005 or 2006. Murex Investments buys small companies and returns the profits to its investors. On Oct. 14 the Owners of MUREX decided to close the business and liquidate because they did not make enough money/profit..

MUREX walked in on a Friday afternoon at 2:00 told all employees they were fired and gave them minutes to get out of the building. Never gave anybody any notice and did not pay the employees who were scheduled to be paid that day.

They took deposits on trailers, and work that was to be done and never fulfilled their obligations. They owe me $750.00. That I was told I am not going to get.

The employees got together and opened the business back up. The new onwer who was the sales manager is trying to do right by the customers who got the shaft. I talked to him a few weeks ago and he told me he would complete my repair free of charge trying to make things right.

Thanks for all the feedback regarding Hitcharama. I own a park model trailer that is located at Beachcomber campground, and most of the trailers at the campground were bought and serviced by Hitcharama.
Knew that I could count on you guys for info.
