My brother in-law and I fished a couple hours before work (6:30am-8:30) caught 1 nice pickrel on rattle trap and missed a few on spinnerbait.

what lake,pond were you fishing?

We fished East Creek Pond. I fish there early in the season. there are some very nice pickeral in that lake aswell as some decent bass.
