Fished the upper reaches of the Horseshoe from 9am through 2pm today (last hour or so of ebb and first three or so of flood). No hits or runoffs. Some nice marks on the fishfinder. Read 51-52 degrees the whole time.

Used fresh clam for bait. Water clarity was ok (cloudy, but not too muddy).

The conditions were sloppy 2-3s on the way out and the way back, but the winds and seas subsided for a spell late morning, which was nice.

Insanity - yes that was me.... unfortunately, I could barely hear the response on my radio (despite a successful radio check the week before) so I couldn't reply.

Checked the plug and saw that it corroded out on me. Another item for the to-do list!
