Shan & I left the dock about 8:30 am for the first run of 08 Whoopie!
Very nice morning: warm sun & cool air with a lite breeze.
The Grady is 20 this year & Im proud to say niether looks or performs the her age.
Got to brown area. We pulled Chartruese, Black/silver & Blue Streaches along with an hourily change offering Toni's, some big spoons I brought from a trip to MIchigan, & Mojo's,,,hey ya gotta mix-it up.
Water color good, temp was 53 at the surface, We pulled baits from the south end to the north, then switched west to east as the wind picked up. Better marks on the North end...but no takers.
Didnt hear many guys braggin, bait fishing was reported as slow yet 1 fellow reported a surprize drum in the horseshoe area.
Back by 2:30, clean and back in the barn by 4. Grey skies moved in and temp dropped as the wind picked up.
Best of luck to all in 08
