The resident bass are around and becoming more active. It'll probably be
another week or two before we start seeing the larger fish in numbers.

I haven't been out personally but a buddy has been hitting the marshes hard for the last two weekends with nothing to show for his efforts. He's been fishing from Coldspring Inlet to Hersford Inlet from his skiff. He's been using clams on the bottom and tossing plugs and plastics. Just last weekend he said the water was 50 degrees on the ff.
