Fished the Susky river from 2:30- 6:30 and ended up catching 4 stripers all over 20#s and 1 bottomed out the 30# scale, 42". Probaly around 35#s. Nice day.
Dave giving some love to the fish, think he figures she would go back to tell her friends.:D

Water temp is around 53

Great catch...and great photos. what water depth were you fishing if you dont mind my asking? Were you using herring? Plan to be down there this weekend with my daughter...im keeping my fingers cross she catches one....thanks.

I saw that it dropped after this weekend, it was between 53-57 on sat and with this warm weather and sun for the next few days, it should really climb quick again

Looks like the river to me. Susquehanna State Park launch at Lapidum is in the upper left of the middle of the picture.

It was in the river in 17' of water. all caught on fresh herring. the bite has slowed up alot but still catching nice fish on every trip. I will be out tomorrow around 1. Water temp was 55

I fish for shad around Deer Creek in the river, is this place down river of that location?

I've tried for stripers around Garrett Island and alittle further south of that, but never did anything.
