Raritan Bay Striper April 2008

I fished the bay last sunday with nota. We went out Yesterday April 19 with a little more success. No keepers but we had 2 shorts one at 21in and the other at 23 1/2in. We used clams and chunks on several shoals. One thing I can say is the skates are in full force.:) :) :)

Hmm..still not much going on in Raritan Bay eh? Thought there would be a number of fish going thru there by now...

Good job! 2 days out in the past week and NOTHING! Hopefully we get some today!

Got a keeper in the bay today 29 1/2in. Trolling with a Manns 25+ stretch black back. Also caught 10 blue. Biggest was 12lb all were big and feisty.:)
