New fishing reel?

Ok gentleman im down to a handful of reels avet mxl6....tyrnos 20 single speed...and the dark horse is the new Torium20 or 30 even know its a star drag i would like to go to all lever drags but the quality and spped of the Torium has me interested....any reels in this price range that ive missed? anyone own theese reels like them? love them? hate them? Please help with some feed back - thanks in advanced-Brian

own a torium 14 and fished torium 30 for tuna great reel super smooth true it has a star drag but depends on what your fishing for i have used the 16 to jig and it was very nice however avets are power horses fished lx's and jx's and loved em super light with a super drag. tyrnos arent bad either the only thing i dont like is that they almost have a sloppier feel then the other two honestly id go with the avet also seee if your goin to fish braid becuase you might not need to go with somethin as large as a torium 30 instead go with a 16 or 20 i used my little 14 for everything blackfish, both clamming and livelinning for stripers, to jiggin for small albies and bonita i put 30lb suffix braid on their and i can horse anything with it.

Good info ....i am going to use it mostly for live lining for stripers and light tuna fishing havent really ventured out in many other directions as of yet....i thought the torium 20 would be my choice i got one but the avet i think is still in the lead but i love the preice of the torium

yea toriums are very well priced and either one of those choices you cant fail even a quantum cabo 30cl they make one caboclw but it has a level wind the regular cl doesnt have one with a higher ratio just like the torium and their are also a great reel priced same as the torium my brother has the 20clw its great super light because it has ceramic drags he has used it for small schooly yft and he said it handled it with no problem. ive tested them out at my job with some braid to test the drag and i have to say ALL QUANTUMS that is ( boca, catalyst, and cabo( conv. spinn. bait.) all have super smooth drags and alot of it. thats another choice to check into also.
