20# For all my striper setups,10# on a couple lite bay rods,30# on a heavier boat rod & 80# on my tuna rod. I switched from Ande to Momoi last season,so far so good. I tried braid & hated it.

back to 20lb Ande for me. used it for years never a problem. tried braid this year for first time becuase everyone raves about it on this site. got tired of cutting up my hands and struggling to tie knots. 2 trips and re-spooled. MONO FOREVER!!!

I use 40 lb quatro on my striper and drum rods if they are gonna have mono. I am a firm believer in using the strongest tackle to get the fish in quickly to ensure a good, live release if they are gonna get released. Why play around with light tackle and risk the fish expiring because the fight was too long. I use 50 lb power pro for braid and 60 lb test on my TLD 50's for tuna.

20lb Ande IGFA on some,17lb BigGame on some, made the switch back from braid 2 yr's ago on all my bigger saltwater stuff,30 bucks or so to spool one set up just isn't worth it,
Now for light tackle fishing casting/LTJ braid is a big advantage, the feel of a 1/2oz jig head on braid is much better then on mono, plus instant solid hook up's,so for 15 bucks it's a bargain used it for 2 seasons and then turn it around for another 5 bucks a season:)
