Seems like it is more the norm than not, C.Side Bill and I will be fishing the raritan bay again this late afternoon/eve, as last friday.Rainy wet,n/n/e wind and yes bunker and bass, at least last friday.so again we will be on the water by 4:00, question is with the wind and rain ? will the boat traffic be down?, will the bunker be up, will the bass be on the bite !. Tell you what if it is gonna be anything like last friday, in same weather/wind conditions then the trip will be well worth it. we will tell you about it tomorrow.
If your out there with us give us a wave. Capt. Frank i will be looking for u in that great new edgewater, that boat was built for this kinda weather.

I can say this i've had some of my greatest striper days when the weather was bad... any input ?

p.s.
anyone see me get towed into the G/K harbor wed afternoon, not fun!

All of my best striper days have been when no one else would even leave the dock. My best day ever was a day that it was just us and the coast gaurd out.:D  :D

Think I've only caught 2 or 3 stripers on clear sunny days. Give me gray and overcast, even a sprinkle and rockin boat

but c/side bill saved the day during wind vs. tide landing a feisty 20 lb striper, as expected the blues kept us busy., lets hope the full moon and change of weather gets the Raritan Bay striper action back to what we had early last week.
I did get good reports for raritan bay bunker yesterday, saturday.
