Bluewater sportfishing

I had Vinny (sportfishingusa) out today for Stripers in the Delaware Bay. The bite has been super good for some of us and after hearing the reports vinny wanted in. we set out late in the morning and headed to our spot. Once there we set up and waited for the Bass to come. It took some time but we started to get a small bite going at the end of the outgoing catching 1 fish in the lower 20lb range and missing four good bites. Once the tide turned which took forever and a freaking day we were anticipating a great incoming bite, but it never came, we picked at three more fish aqnd missing a few more nice run offs, the largest going 34 lbs on the boga grips and the smallest going 21lbs. The reason the bite was off a little today was due to tons of grass in the water and the fish just dont like the weed. The second the grass clears out the fishing will be spectacular again. I think by friday it will clear out.
So thats my report for today.
Also on another note the drum bit rather well tonight for a few boats so thats encourging news for drum fishermen. now if we could just get this damn weather to play nice we would be set.
tight lines,

I have more pics and will put them up soon
