Did not book anything today so I got to go out there solo. Headed out watching a nice lightning storm offshore. Weather was perfect again but a ton more boats today. Fishing was still good though with tons of bait and bass feeding. Doubled up right away and landed both- a 28 pounder and an even 40 pounder. Got back on them and hooked up right away again. For the next thirty minutes landed another 3 fish and then the fleet got tighter and tighter and the bass shut down. Managed to pull another 2 fish out of a small school and was back at the dock by 11. Days total was 1- 28lbs, 6 30 lbers, and one 40 even. Been one great season- cant get out tomorrow but hopefully will be back at it on friday.
