We broke the inlet @ 3:30pm today & found the bunker outside the inlet with a small fleet...we waited for the fleet to thin out & it paid off by boating a 22lb bass that blasted a live bunker out of the water. we move further South to find another school & immediatley had a big run off, after a great fight we boated a 28lb (bled) 43" bass & headed for the barn. It looked and sounded like a weekend with amount of boat traffic and A-Holes on the radio. A guy on a boat about 75yrds away let his bunker swim under our boat which cause a tangle...I thought I was on a party boat again, that's when we threw in the towel.

Nice report! Do you fish in a cuddy or center console? Single or twin power? I've been keeping my eye out for ya! Thought I saw you last sunday afternoon snagging off ocean grove.

Good stuff. We were out yesterday afternoon/evening south of SR and man were there a lot of boats!!! Looked like Memorial Day weekend. Put three in the boat, two were 30lbs. All released.

SUD-Z, cuddy, twins, give me a shout on the radio although if we say we had or have fish then we get surrounded like General Custard.

Jacksaw...yea we did our best to stay away from the fleet...nice job on the released fish!

We moved over to Shark River Yatch Club (across from MAC's ramp) this year on the North channel...Dock D....the floating docks are a lot easier to deal with. Good Luck Juanago & may the fleet stay away from you! :D

Ahh, you over by Sunsets? I like the outside bar there. I'm at the main marina. What's your boat name? I am in a 20 Proline CC (Rayna Leigh). I'll be out Sunday morning, I'm on channel 65.

Yes sir...directly accross from Sunsets....we heard Bruce Springstein over at Sunsets when we came in on Sunday night...followed up by some Bon Jovi...the guy singing actually sounded pretty good. :D I use to hit Headliners in my 20's....talk about some booty. Anyway, in the nicest possible way I'd rather not post the boat name at this time, give me a shout on the radio and if I'm out I'll give a shout back with that info...my father runs the boat and he's wary of the internet...I can't blame him though. We'll most likely be out Sat. morning.

Roger that...Headliners..wow same with me man! Now in my mid 30's with family I am lucky to get out and fish once in a while. Saturday I'll be at Crystal point at a wedding watching the boats through the window on the manasquan river. I'm taking my dad out Sunday am for Fathers day. Let me know how you make out Sat. I see a few people from the area posting which is really cool. I will probably just make a generic call on the VHF to any barners and work from there. Good luck sat. Me and a few friends run a 50 Viking out of Brielle so if you are interested in doing some offshore this summer we can hookup. Talk about a prime parking spot we are docked right behind Union Landing and the Sand Bar, talk about booty...oh boy!

Me too man...33 & I'm getting married on October 11th....you guys running that 50 Viking that day by any chance? :D We do some offshore stuff on the boat (23 Polar), but no overnighters. I appreciate the offer on the Viking and will keep it in mind...although this summer will be difficult with all the planning and money for the wedding. I'm use to going on a 26 Regulator overnight (Bear13). I'll let ya know how we do on Sat & will listen to the radio. Now I got booty on my mind! :D Catch em up!

Cool deal I hear ya bro. We run the 50 as a charter but when we (boys) go we just split all the expenses down the middle. We will probably put 6-9 people on the boat for our canyon runs this year with the price of diesel the way it is just to help on everyone's wallet. Let me know this summer there is plenty of time. We travel in style no roughing it on this boat. My friend went overboard with all the toys! Good luck with the planning, that is a blur for me just celebrated my 10 year anniversary but I remember it being stressfull! Just try to enjoy it because after all of the hard work and planning your special day goes by fast.

btw...Not sure if you are a hockey fan but we will be having Jim Dowd And Scott Gomez out for a few trips this year. My friend that owns the boat and myself played hockey with Jim growing up. I should have stuck with it! We were hoping the flyers won because Jim told us he would have brought the cup to the boat, that would have been awesome!

I was a fan of Scott's when he was with the Dev's (kidding).....he's an incredible player and I miss the guy on the Devils for sure. That would've been cool to have the cup on the boat...talk about a great picture....that would be the catch of a lifetime.

LOL...it would taint everything I stand for. :D Hey it's the off-season...it's all good. I have a picture of me and Bill Bergey (former Eagles LB) that I try to keep close to my vest. He's a great guy.
