Mansquan Inlet to shark river inlet 6-12

Got out of work at 4 had the boat in the drink at 5 . Found bunker right away snag and drop managed a big blue (15 lb) and 1 bass @ 30 lbs. The people out there seem like they have no clue. They drive right threw the school of bunker everytime. None the less it was a fun trip with alot of hits and alot of action . My other buddies got bass on there boats 2. Nice day out on the water besides for the bennies who have no clue how to fish.

Nice report...I only see 1 problem in the post, we're "beenies" & we sure know how to fish and do the right thing on the water. ;) Some of these guys have striper fever and could careless how they effect others on the water or how to properly fish the schools in a fleet. Catch em up!

I'm pretty sure it refers to anyone who doesn't live "down the shore/beach" or visitors to the beach. I've never heard the term till I came on here (Barn)....in South Jersey they say "shoobies" or something like that.

I mean i understand everyone wants to get in the mix .. shit i know i do, but some of thease people act like they been doin this for 100 yrs and think there guides but they actully have no clue what is going on.

I know exactly what you are talking about. We wre in the middle of a huge pod, because we positioned the boat and waited for them to come to us. We were there by ourselves and some yahoos come driving right through this huge pod to about 100 feet from us, pod of bunker was easily 300' on either side of us. They pull up while my father is fighting a feisty bluefish thats about 14 lbs and getting chased by a small shark and they start yelling over to "get that fish in the boat!" Then when we net it they yell its about time. At which point I yelld back, "Shut the F up! If you guys are such good fisherman why the hell do you run through the bait and pull right up next to us!" They started the boat and drove away. I was on fire!

The sad thing is a large guide service in that area will drive into the middle of a pod of bunker just like you described, these guys are good bass fishermen that don't give a damn about anyone else.

i call that an asshole , Respect everyone regardless of how good u r at fishing , u should never scare the fish your trying to catch , I thought that was what we were out there for? i know i hate burning gas at 4 + a gallon to get pissed off and catch no fish.
