Looks like the same St Croix I use for stripers in the Big D. Landing a Goliath like that with that rod is truely and accomplishment. I'm sure the braided line helped.

Was gonna say the same thing, dont even think I could musky fish with that rod heck with catch a 70lb striper but I guess its stronger than it looks.
