There is a time and place for everything. Time of year, what beach, and what species I am targetting plays a huge factor in what I am throwing. I will say that spring is mainly bait for me (bloods/clam) and the fall is 25% bait (bunker) and 75% plugs/lures. Oh, and jetties, no matter what time of year, is almost always plugs.
