Renegade hosted the Wayne Smith charter from Easton, PA and several other members from the board for another striper trip. Snagging bait was made even more difficult in the deep water thanks to the dense fog which NOAA never mentioned......they also got the wind direction wrong by 180 degrees. Anyway, pretty calm despite the TD offshore, a bit of a heave but fishable. Snagged 30 baits and headed north. Despite a solid efforts all we managed was bluefish, about 40 of them. Marked some bass but the blues won. Final open boat for bass Friday afternoon and then open boat Canyon Tuna starting 8/15 till November.
