Bass Under The Bunker

Went out for a couple of hours today looking for schools of bunker . Found them off of wildwood got out the snag hook . Snagged the first one and let it swim. Capt Rip, good stuff. I can't believe there still under those bunker. I gave up a couple weeks ago due to frustration fishing and not catching under the pods. Have you been having consistent luck on the bunker or periodic.

It seems as long as we can find the bunker we have good success. But if the bunker aren't around the stripers don't seem to be either.

Good report Jeff. I did the same thing a couple nights back boated 5 shorts :D and lost what was without a doubt my largest ever after a fifteen minute fight on light tackle .:(

The Big bunker have been comming into the back bays behind the Brigantine Bridge in the Absecon Inlet. along with lots of other bait and the bass are following. The following is Thursdays charter fishing the sod banks with spot and big bunker.
