i love the flats in the spring especially on a flat as glass morning and exploding stripers on poppers :)


myself and clamchunker (in pic) were fishing about 2 feet of water watching a boston whaler fly towards us i said "hes gonna hit bottom"

with that the engine bounced up n down quite severly :nuts: i guess the depth finder wasnt working :rolleyes:

left him trolling his trolling motor off the flat ...

i broke down and mounted a decent gps sounder on my bass boat

i have an old 182 on my big boat but.... i use the heck out of the bass boat so it was well worth the investment :)

when you find a school and after fighting a couple are on top of the flat and need to start where you were previously dead reconing was not fun out there :huh:

i leave the track on and go right back to the beginning of the drift
