Just a thought man. This site is very, very informative and I enjoy it but, Im from SOUTH Jersey and I wannna know whats bitin in the waters im fishin. Im sure alot of the southerners would agree. I dont want anyone to take this the wrong way im just wondering why South Jerseys beaches dont have a seperate forum.

I would think Home Port covers those areas. They have a back bay reports thread and a LEI/Great Bay reports thread. Why, you jealous of us northern guys now:fighting::D

Nah not jealous. Is the fishing in Sandy Hook & Raritan Bay really better then South Jersey though? I have heard that

No..... There are no fish north of manasqan.
I would say that surf fishing, in my experience, is better up in the raritan bay/sandy hook area. Once out in a boat, it's different and things even out... some different species, and methods, but overall fishing probably equal.

Way more structure on the beaches to the North. I don't know why anyone would limit themselves to one area.

It is much better, unless you are fishing for dogfish, skates, drum, or croakers. If you are after fluke and stripers, North rules !!! ;):D

The new forums we added were related to the major bays along the East Coast - Sandy Hook/Raritan bay, and Chesapeake bay.
If you're interested in "beaches", I'll assume you're refering to the surf? If that's the case, our Surf Fishng forum is where ya wanna be :)
