I said I would send in a report. But I did not itto be so short. Left home from noth jersey cool but nice weather, stopped at the bait shop. picked up some bait. Got to the marina astrong east wind and cold at the dock decided to cancel trip. will try again when blow is over.Next time will look at weather reports in the A.M. before leaving by house. Stopped by A.H> marina party boats went out. and a few hearty souls.white caps would only get worse when the tide shifts.

I was down in the Belmar area this morning, boy was the ocean mad. There was a 27 to 30' center console out there and he disappeared (http://www.google.com/search?num=20&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=si8&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=disappeared&spell=1) in the swells. Now you see him, now you don't.

I was out Saturday. Very high tide, and very rough! I launched from Liberty State Park, with ideas of heading to Breezy Point for FA's, but it was too rough to get across! We ran straight into the swell, and arrived at Romers. Absolutely frightening conditions there! Continued on to the Hook, and found some relief at the north end, but no way to continue along the beach side. We fished our way from there north to Staten Island, in great conditions, but no fish. I'm in an 18' Grady.
