Fished all day Sat with not much action. Trolled, chummed, drifted, and ran up to the Rockaways to find a couple blues and one short. At 3:00pm we spotted a huge flock about a mile out just north of the hook. We ran out thinking it was blues and to our suprise it was all stiper. We boated 25-30 shorts and one keeper 29in. The action was incredible. It lasted over three hours. We chaced them all the way back to the hook. A bad day turned great. :thumbsup::)
