Cape May to Strathmere Via Ocean....nada

Me my brother and buddy from work left the inlet in search for birds and bunker....ran about mile from beach from Cape May up to Strathmere...didn't see squat....went in TI and putzed our way back home....

6am-10am nada....

Boat tops out at 45mph burning 2.0 mpg:)

Trolled last week from Cape May to Sea Isle City, ZIP. Trolled on Friday from Cape May to rips, ZIP. Set up with tide incoming, strong NE wind yesterday morning, small bluefish chewing up the spots. Went home. Will try again on Monday. Good luck everybody.

Twas a nice boat ride though...funniest part was behind AV trying to jig a paddletail on a 3/8 oz lead head with 20 lb mono on a meat stick meant for snaggin' bunker :D Run whatcha brung, they ain't catchin' nuttin sitting in the holders.
