Hit the Tip of the hook early... 3:30AM. Nothing doing in the Rip area.

Headed down to Sewer Pipe and the area outside the Highlands bridge. Marked bait and fish but no bites until the sun came up.

Once the sun came up the game was on.

Then we played run and gun jigging and landed several Bass and Blues with a return to the dock at 8AM.

Left them biting...had obligations.

Nice! We were off of Sea Bright chasing the birds as well. The bite died around 8 anyway...

Was in the same area , off seabrite chasing the birds,Blues and bass. Caught the blues but the BASS were all around me and nothing . Blues were filled with 2" Rainfish? White bellys and transparent bodys. Throw 6"shads at them. EEl on the bottom. 2 ounce t rex. 5" silver rebel and not a bite. Talk about being pissed off. May be next time with some help.:mad:

I lost several Storm shads to the Blues.

Then I reached into a bag and out came a 4 inch clark spoon.

I gave it a try and on the first cast came a 32" bass.

Ava's work too as did crippled herring knockoffs from ebay. (called wobbleifsh)

The bass wanted rainfish, so we tried to match the "hatch" as best as we could. 007's and Deadly dicks are the best immitators of rainfish I know of.
