Has there been any Bass action out in front LBI? Plan on going out Wednesday. Thought about drifting some eels at Holgate. New to the area. I would appreciate any suggestions. I have a need to quite the guys from Cape May.;)

Moonshadow,
I work on my uncle's gillnetter, last wednesday early we had a 4 foot striper in the net about 1.5 miles off the island, 30 feet of water. I tried to grab him but he rolled out of the net before i could gaff him.
They're there, try the inlet itself on an incoming tide, or look for holes off LBI or IBSP.

Thanks for the come back. I guess I should be looking for the bunker schools as well. Tough to loose a big one, happy to hear they're there

We had a ton of adult bunker in the net that day too, or was that the last week...
Before my uncle pulls his boat december 1st he wants to get out and fish for stripers (chunking bunker, live eels) and he can handle 5 total people, Ill let you know if we have room on the boat.
