All are welcome to fish the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club's 4th Annual LBI Cup. Come join some of the best striped bass fisherman on LBI. For more details contact Phil Hiller at nicandphil@aol.com. The tournament will be on Saturday November 15th!

Never fished it before, but a friend of mine suggested we should.

I'll bring home the flyer and put up details tonight. Here are my informal understandings of the contest..ie NOT OFFICIAL....

It's a 12 hour contest on Saturday Nov 15th, with cash prizes to the top three boats. Captains meeting Friday night at the BHMTC club house in Beach Haven (near Morrisons). Food and food both Friday night and at the Cup awards ceremony on Saturday night. Fish can be weighed in at the club or in Barnegat Light.

This is a contest for your heaviest TWO fishes combined weight. There will be 3 prizes; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd......as well as a prize for the largest single fish overall. Also a calcutta will be avaliable for all boats.

It's open to all boats and up to 4 anglers per boat with the entry fee. Spreader bars and umbrella rigs are permitted....

So Ray are we in or what? There usually aren't that many boats because it's late but thats the good part. It's fun and the ones who do fish do it for bragging rights.

Were in again, always a great tournament and a great time. Fishing has been red hot at both ends so should be interesting

Cant wait - all ready to go. Now have to decide whether to fish the north or south end? Wind is gonna be a little tough but weather otherwise not that bad. Should be fun. See everyone friday
