Heading out early Sat am to see if I can scare up something in the upper bay. Sounds like it will be windy and rough so I probably will just try around Turkey Point or maybe up towards the Susky. I will have to bail around 1pm. Let me know if you are going to be out.

I do however want to meet up at some point. Maybe the following weekend.

Yes. Still a little early for the flats but hopefully this drop in temp will bring them in soon.

Well how did you make out?

Trolled around for 2 hours or so with storms and hopkins and got nothing. Tried from 16 to 6 ft in depth. Mostly around Turkey point and across to Sandy Point. Seemed the only people having any luck were catching white perch. Still early but I hope it comes soon.

Yeah, seems that seem to be the case unless you head down to the middle bay. I am actually going to get started on my trolling rigs tonight. Just bought a nice cow catcher umbrella rig and I am going to make a few parachute rigs for trolling.

Heard some reports of people catching stripers up to 25" on bucktails and crippled herrings at the mouth of the NE and Susky rivers. I am hoping to try Sat and Sun am

Are there still plenty of perch around Red Point or Turkey Point? The wind Saturday looks frightening- 30kts! Guess it will be Sunday instead

Fished Friday off the water tower between Red Point and Rocky Point in about 9 feet of water. Two legal Rockfish around 19" and a couple small ones. A small window of opportunity about 9:30 AM, which would have been about 2 hours after high tide. BA's in purple and one small one on a crippled herring. Been getting plenty of Perch around the #2 bouy at Rocky Point. If you want to share some info with me and would rather keep in private, send me an email.:)

Last minute change, I will be in the water around 6:30 am. Launching out of Anchor Marine right next to the Naughty Goose.
I think Trish has your cell, if not I am emailing you mine.
Hope to see you out there.
